The album was not an initial financial success, but it earned Metallica a growing fanbase among extreme music lovers......the members of Slayer were simply traveling in a van from town to town; very often, they had to stay in shabby motels or just in strange houses......At the same time AC/DC got acquainted with Stephen King, American writer, "king of horrors", who turned out to be their fan. King asked if he could use their old material for the soundtrack to his film "Maximum overdrive" and asked them to record several new tracks...
